For all the build up of Tropic thunder it was actually not TOO bad. It gave you a few good laughs that are expected from any Ben Stiller film. Robert Downey Jr. did a good job being the dude pretending to be the dude. However Tom Cruise stole the film. Although he was only in it for maybe 10 minutes of screen time yet i have found myself watching his scenes over and over again on the You Tube.

For a comedy with Jack Black, Ben Stiller, and Downey I give it a ‘One Thumb Up’

I’m with Nick, Juno is one of the best films I’ve seen in a long time.

Failing that - High School Musical. Anyone who ridicules that is a massive sourpuss and shouldnt be afraid to embrace their inner 8 year old. No lewd remarks about embracing 8 year olds either please.

For the way home The Lite is my gospel… i love it - i get withdrawal symptons if i dont have one!!

Get your text off - the section where people text in is so funny - a waste of money - but very funny!!

And also on a tuesday they have Love texts - you know the ones - “you were on the 5:45pm train, i got on at clapham junction we smiled at each other, i should have got your number? fancy a drink?”

I know im sad!! Please tell me someone likes this dribble too??

Verdict on my weekend of comedy:

Jimmy Carr: might as well have read the same page of Nuts or Zoo for three monotonous hours.

Mighty Boosh: have sold out for the money and the cheap and easy laughs. Not even an entire packet of Revels could make it better. Although (predictably) the gin did.
