Having run out of butter one-too-many times we’ve taken to mixing sandwich fillings with sheer abandon - and not without success!

• Chocolate Spread & Honey
I’ve been told Banana, Peanut Butter & Honey is pretty sensational, and Elvis’ favourite was Bacon & Peanut Butter…. what’s your favourite?

* Peanut Butter & Marmite - spread the Marmite (and the love) first.
* Peanut Butter & light cream cheese (PB first).
* Peanut Butter & Anchovy Sauce - smear a ‘glistening’ of the sauce over the PB, preferably of the crunchy variety.
* Peanut Butter & Chopped Jalepeno Peppers.

2 slices of eggy bread, with bacon, melted cheese and brown sauce in between.
…then collapse and have a heart attack but tastes great!

Peanut butter and Cucumber….The cucumber cuts through the thick peanut. YUM

A nice salt & vinegar crisp sandwich - with a nice cup of tea to wash it down

umm, peanut butter in general is food of the gods and should only ever be Jif, Skippy or Kraft, but if you’re gonna dilute the goodness, peanut butter, grated carrot and sultanas on white bread rocked my high-school years.

The ozzies put beetroot in sandwiches which i totally agree with….mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm….

Bacon, melted buffalo mozzarella, beetroot, avocado, cress, mayonnaise & dijon mustard.
Who puts carrot in a sandwich!?

peanut butter, jam and marmite - yum!!
or to be grosser… chicken, melted cheese and sweet chilli sauce!!
iv got so many weird concoctions that i better stop there…

More of a toast topping than sandwich filling but it’s so good it has to get a mention: stilton and honey on toast…ok it’s immensely unhealthy and sounds absolutely vile but it really is fabulous….

I dunno food - but i love Pesto and grated cheese or parmasame.
