Start Spreading the News

Having run out of butter one-too-many times we’ve taken to mixing sandwich fillings with sheer abandon - and not without success!

• Peanut Butter & Jam (Jelly, according to Patrick)
• Peanut Butter & Honey
• Peanut Butter & Chocolate Spread
• Chocolate Spread & Honey

I’ve been told Banana, Peanut Butter & Honey is pretty sensational, and Elvis’ favourite was Bacon & Peanut Butter…. what’s your favourite?

    * Peanut Butter & Marmite - spread the Marmite (and the love) first.
    * Peanut Butter & light cream cheese (PB first).
    * Peanut Butter & Anchovy Sauce - smear a ‘glistening’ of the sauce over the PB, preferably of the crunchy variety.
    * Peanut Butter & Chopped Jalepeno Peppers.

umm, peanut butter in general is food of the gods and should only ever be Jif, Skippy or Kraft, but if you’re gonna dilute the goodness, peanut butter, grated carrot and sultanas on white bread rocked my high-school years.

More of a toast topping than sandwich filling but it’s so good it has to get a mention: stilton and honey on toast…ok it’s immensely unhealthy and sounds absolutely vile but it really is fabulous….
